🏰 Tiny Secret Kid Art Museum (TSKAM) 🏰
Little Falls, NY
We are transforming a retired public telephone box near the Ann Street Deli in Little Falls into the Tiny Secret Kid Art Museum—a playful, interactive public art showcase exclusively for kids and teens. This unique project is all about empowering young artists by giving them a space to display their visual creations, connecting the community through art made by its youngest voices.
Our Approach:
Building the Museum:
We’ll renovate the telephone box into a functional and inspiring kid friendly art display space. The design will look like a little museum and focus on accessibility, durability, and adaptability, ensuring it can serve as a long-lasting public art showcase.
Partnering with Local Schools and Art Organizations:
Collaborating with educators and local art organizations to provide workshops, classroom projects, and community events to encourage kids and teens to create art for their museum, while providing support for submissions.
Creating a Dynamic Community Experience:
The museum will feature rotating exhibits. This keeps the exhibits fresh and reflective of the community’s growing talent while encouraging ongoing participation, and ensuring the museum becomes a cherished part of the community.
Expanding the Vision:
Depending on the success of the Little Falls TSKAM project, we plan to expand the concept to other communities, creating a network of small art spaces that celebrate young artists across the region.
The Tiny Secret Kid Art Museum is about empowering young voices, supporting kids with opportunities for creativity and collaboration, and building stronger connections between young people and their communities.
